    • Results: The Meet Mobile smartphone app (NOT SwimTopia!) will have live results posted as available throughout the weekend. Be sure to download it so you can follow along. We'll post info on how to find the meet in the app once that info is available
    • Practices: In preparation for the meet, there will be NO PM practices on Thursday.
    • Bring: FOOD & WATER, chairs, a tent if you have one, sunscreen, heat sheets, sharpies, extra everything your swimmer needs for swimming (cap, goggles, suit), and anything else you like to keep you and your swimmer "comfortable" outside in the middle of July. Check the weather b/c it's July in southeast TN.
    • Parking:
      • First, note the location of our crash area from this map on the CASL website -- in the grassy area between the reserved parking area and pickleball courts. Given the location, many families find the Forrest Road parking area to be most convenient.
      • Please note that getting in and out of the paved lot by the pool is likely to be a slow process during the normal arrival and departure times before/between sessions. If you're coming back for a final and expecting to enter the paved lots at the last minute, that might go poorly for your swimmer and the team, so please plan accordingly!
      • RVs and Campers: In years past, RVs and campers have been allowed. Unfortunately, that is no longer allowed.
    • Set Up: We are able to start setting up tents in our crash area (see link above) after 4:00pm on Thursday
    • Relays:
      • We will keep relay assignments in this spreadsheet. This document should be used instead of the heat sheet for knowing who is on which relay, as we have a lot of relay teams and regularly have late-breaking changes to the lineups.
      • 11 & older relays will self-organize and report to their assigned race as required. We're counting on you, swimmers & parents!
      • 10 & under relays have a single parent assigned to organize each relay. This amazing and meet-critical parent will collect the kids in their relay and get them to the correct heat/lane. Our relay parents will be looking for their team members immediately after warm ups. Parents, please help our relay parents by figuring out which parent is assigned to your swimmer's relay (in the relay info sheet linked above) and help them identify your swimmer during that time. There's a lot going on, so going at this from both sides will ensure nobody slips through the cracks.
    • Equipment: At City Meet, swimmers will be disqualified for wearing unapproved equipment / accessories. Please note the following:
      • Caps: Swimmers must wear a Tidal Waves cap, an unmarked (or inside-out) cap, or no cap.
      • Suits: No tie-back suits. No suits with logos of non-CASL teams. No tech suits for 12&under swimmers.
      • Medical Tape: No medical tape without a doctor's note, handed to coaches for delivery to the meet referee.
      • Accessories: No watches, bracelets, necklaces, etc. Nothing other than a suit, goggles, and cap should be worn (though small earrings are typically accepted).
