We head up Signal Mountain tomorrow evening to meet the Green Giants in a make-up meet from the one which was previously rained out. Here are the notes for the day:

• Heat Sheet: Ooltewah at Signal Heat Sheet
• Times:
  • Pool Entry: 5:00 (The pool is used by the public until that time. Please honor our hosts' wishes and don't enter the pool and start setting up prior to this.)
  • Warm-ups: 5:30
  • Meet start: 6:00
• Location: The pool is located at 1100 Ridgeway Ave, Signal Mountain, TN 37377
• Volunteers: We still need the following volunteer jobs to be filled:
  • 2 Deck Parents (6U Boys, 7-8 Boys)
  • 4 Place Judges (we currently have zero place judges)
  • 7 Timers
  • 1 Scorekeeper
• Pool Area:
  • When entering from the main entrance, our seating area is on the left side of the pool.
  • We can sit on the bleachers, pool deck, and grassy areas on the right-half of that area (when viewed with the pool behind you).
  • Please remind the kids to not play on the diving boards.
  • Restrooms are located near the entryway.
• Check In: We will have check-in volunteers near the beginning of the bleacher area. Please be sure to check your swimmers in and yourself if you're volunteering.
• Alternates: Signal has an 8-lane pool, so all alternates will swim in the points heats
• Concessions: The pool usually has concessions, but mostly snacks and candy
• Parking & Traffic:
  • Parking is available around the Town Hall and down towards the baseball fields.
  • Please be sure to not block driveways -- particularly the one-way circle drive in front of the pool. Traffic will back up behind you very quickly and cause gridlock.
  • Please note (per a reminder from our friends at Signal Mountain) that the speed limit in town is 35mph and is strictly enforced!
